About the Role

Programmed is seeking experienced Domestic support workers/Cleaners to join our community nursing team in Melbourne's South Eastern Suburbs. As a Home Care Support Worker, you will provide care and support to veterans and aged community members living at home.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated hourly rate for this position is approximately $40-$50 per hour, with an additional 99c/km reimbursement for travel between clients. You will be paid your hourly rate for the entirety of the shift from arrival at your first client to your last.

Job Description

This role involves supporting clients within their own homes with light domestic duties. You will work weekdays, Monday to Friday, commencing at 8am. A wide travel radius is involved with this position, requiring you to have a reliable insured motor vehicle and a valid driver's licence.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in a comparable role
  • Good time management skills
  • Current police clearance certificate (within the last 12 months)
  • Working with Children Check
  • Covid-19 Vaccinations and booster (essential for work in the aged care sector)
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence
  • Reliable, registered, and insured motor vehicle
