Cloud Data Architect

This role is ideal for a skilled professional with experience in designing and building large-scale data systems. The successful candidate will have expertise in cloud data platforms, modern data pipelines, and advanced analytics environments.

We are seeking a Cloud Data Architect to help us design and implement our modern cloud-native data platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, or AWS RDS) and be proficient in Python for data transformation and automation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain reliable and scalable data pipelines using a modern data stack.
  • Work with stakeholders across engineering, analytics, and product teams to translate business requirements into data solutions.
  • Collaborate with analytics engineers and data scientists to deliver clean, well-modelled datasets for reporting and advanced analytics.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and accuracy through monitoring, testing, and validation processes.
  • Contribute to the development of semantic models, dashboards, and BI solutions to improve access to insights.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, or AWS RDS).
  • Familiarity with modern data stack tools such as dbt and Airflow.
  • Understanding of data modelling concepts and ETL/ELT best practices.
  • Exposure to tools such as Kafka, Segment, or Terraform is desirable.
