About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Water Engineer to join our Water Utilities team. As a key member of our national multi-disciplinary team, you will play a critical role in delivering projects that enhance our capabilities and reputation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design of multiple projects, managing the production of high-quality technical documentation and collaborating with clients and vendors.
  • Apply relevant State and Federal legislation, industry standards, and guidelines to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Undertake liaison with project stakeholders, including clients and vendors, to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with current water and wastewater technology, providing high technical expertise and innovation in the design and procurement of projects.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, MIEAust or equivalent, CPEng, and RPEQ. You will also have relevant local engineering consulting experience in the Water / General Civils industry, with a strong technical expertise across a wide spectrum of civil engineering, including pipelines, earthworks, sewer, water and road drainage.

You will be able to prepare, produce technically sound reports with minimal need for corrections for medium to large-scale projects, and have experience with CHAIR and HAZOP methodologies, and adeptness in safety in design practices and processes.
