Job Title: Electrical Systems Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Electrical Systems Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, project management, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients and manufacturers regarding designs/drawings supplied and advise appropriate manufacturing and installation methods
  • Perform electrical and telecommunications testing in accordance with industry standards
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs meet technical and safety standards
  • Conduct technical review of client issued documentation to determine project scope and estimate costs
  • Development of test proformas, inspect electrical designs and circuitry, finished products to ensure compliance to specifications as well as safety regulations and standards
  • Compilation of quality assurance documentation, test reports and test plans
  • Undertake Quality control of manufactured and installed parts to ensure the product meets the project requirements and reject those that don't meet the required specification
  • Support projects as required which can include estimating materials costs and quantities, developing parts lists, bill of materials for projects and obtaining quotes from suppliers

Requirements:

  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines when required
  • Development of quality assurance documentation in line with project scope and technical requirements
  • Time management and resource planning and management in line with company objectives
  • Experience in 2D/3D Computer Aided Design work and ability to use Computer Aided Design (Auto CAD) Software
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Driver's License, OHS White Card and RIW essential
