Job Overview

HR Partners by Randstad is partnering with a leading Australian retailer to fill an immediate vacancy for a Recruitment Coordinator/Specialist. This exciting opportunity offers a forward-thinking and dynamic recruitment specialist the chance to join a great organization's talent team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with potential to become permanent.

This role plays a vital part in supporting the recruitment process and ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers. As a Recruitment Coordinator, you'll gain hands-on experience in talent acquisition while contributing to the organization's growth.

Main Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Recruitment Activities: Coordinate job postings, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and more.
  • Hiring Manager Support: Provide administrative assistance to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
  • Talent Pool Management: Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with accurate candidate and job information.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Assist in finding top talent through various recruitment channels.
  • Initial Screening: Conduct phone calls to assess candidate suitability.
  • Liaising with Stakeholders: Collaborate with internal and external parties to provide a positive candidate experience.
  • Employer Branding: Participate in social media and recruitment events to promote the organization's employer brand.
  • Recruitment Metrics: Track key performance indicators and report to the Talent Acquisition team.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-2 years of recruitment experience in internal and/or agency settings.
  • Prior Experience: Working in high-volume recruitment environments handling up to 20 roles at a time.
  • Time Management: Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Industry Expertise: Ideally, experience in FMCG or Retail recruitment industry, particularly in mixed workforce roles.
  • Communication Skills: Great relationship-building skills, excellent problem-solving attitude, comfortable with ambiguity, and proactive sourcing experience via LinkedIn or Seek.
