Job Title: STEM Educator/Coding Instructor

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as casual educators. This role offers full training and provides an excellent entry point for those looking to start their career in education and technology.

Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with children and make a difference in their learning. As a coding instructor, you will be responsible for leading and engaging groups of young children during school holiday camps and after-school classes. You will need to explain coding concepts effectively using our simplified coding software and step-by-step curriculum.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing classrooms before lessons to ensure an optimal learning environment.
  • Understanding and executing procedures of the centre setup and presentation.
  • Effectively communicating with students, parents, and team members.
  • Delivering a high standard of care and education to all students.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A background in coding, ideally in block coding, Java, or Python (no tertiary qualifications required).
  • Passion for STEM education and hands-on learning.
  • Ability to connect and communicate effectively with students and parents.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to our innovative teaching methods.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
