Employee Experience Focused HR Officer

We are currently seeking an experienced Human Resources (HR) professional to join our team as an HR Services Officer. This role will be based within the Essential Energy footprint, offering a unique opportunity to work in a hybrid environment and contribute to the success of our organisation.

This fast-paced role provides a great opportunity to expand professional skills while focusing on continuous improvement with a strong system, people, and process focus. As the HR Services Officer, you will be the first point of contact to provide high-level HR support across a broad range of both internal and external stakeholders, delivering advice and assistance to all employees, and supporting the HR Business Partners and line managers with operational HR and Oracle ERP related enquires.

About You
  • You will have operational and systems background in a high-level and high-volume HR environment with demonstrated experience liaising with all levels of management and providing support in relation to processes with previous experience in updating and maintaining accurate records in an HR system.
  • An enthusiastic and committed professional who can foster a positive work culture to strive to execute excellence in employee and stakeholder experience with the ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion to ensure sensitive matters are handled with diplomacy and respect.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $65,000 - $90,000 per annum, commensurate with skills and experience. Essential Energy provides a comprehensive remuneration package including 16% superannuation, 26 weeks paid parental leave, learning and development opportunities, and Health and Wellbeing programs including fitness passport.

Required Qualifications

Certificate IV in Human Resource Management or Certificate IV in Business and/or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
