Job Summary

The Electrician/Electrical Technician shall ensure the safe operation of all electrical machinery and equipment in collaboration with other technical personnel. They may be called upon to provide electrical services for charterers' equipment, subject to prior clarification by superiors.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Carry out tasks related to electrical equipment as instructed by the Operator.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of electrical parts according to the maintenance system and Chief Engineer's instructions.
  • Update the maintenance system after completing tasks and manage spare part stock.
  • Assist the Chief Engineer and Master in all necessary respects.
  • Maintenance and inspection of all DP-related electronic equipment on bridge and E/R and related computer systems.

Essential Requirements:
- At least three years relevant experience
- Certification and courses according to Flag State rules and regulations.
- Compliance with duties in accordance with Flag State and IMO rules and regulations.
