Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our team in Newcastle. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in delivering innovative automation solutions across a range of complex and rewarding projects.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging directly with clients to define project requirements and develop clear scopes of work
  • Leading the design, development, implementation, and commissioning of advanced control system solutions
  • Ensuring all project deliverables meet high standards of quality, safety, and timeliness
  • Providing expert-level technical support and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be responsible for promoting and contributing to a culture focused on health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ).

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years' demonstrated experience in control systems engineering within water/wastewater, mining or heavy industrial environments
  • Strong client engagement skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
  • Proven experience with control systems, automation platforms, and industrial communication networks
  • A current Australian driver's licence
