The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with our care team, families, and allied health professionals.

About the Role

As a Personal Care and Activities Assistant, you will provide person-centered care, including personal care, social engagement, and activity support to help customers maintain their independence and dignity.

You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and adapting activities to support physical, social, and emotional wellbeing, and for monitoring and reporting any changes in health, wellbeing, or behavior to clinical staff.

Your Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home & Community) or equivalent qualification
  • Completion of Allied Health/Therapy Assistant course (desirable)
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate
  • Manual handling and infection control training
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including with people living with dementia
  • Experience providing personal care in aged care, disability, or community settings
