Senior Clinical Research Contract Coordinator

The Clinical Trials Contracts Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing the entire process of negotiating and executing complex clinical trial research agreements.
- Reporting to the Clinical Trials Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and executing complex clinical trial contracts primarily using standard templates.
- Acting as an escalation point for Contracts Officers on complex issues, you will provide guidance and support to ensure seamless contract execution.
- You will also consult with the Office of General Counsel regarding legal issues related to non-standard contracts and liaise with researchers to gather relevant information and provide strategic guidance on clinical trial contracting.
- With exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize in a busy environment with strict deadlines, you will evaluate and review team processes, leading continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have experience in reviewing and executing legal contracts, a background in clinical trials and an interest in science, medical, or health research, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
Understanding of clinical trial regulations and experience negotiating research contracts within complex organizations is desirable. The successful applicant will work closely with researchers across the institution, leveraging stakeholder engagement and communication skills to contribute to research excellence.
