About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Policy Officer to join our Families and Communities Stream. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to policy and delivery activities, working closely with stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for families and children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake complex and sensitive work, working under limited direction to achieve key outcomes.
  • Manage priorities and adjust milestones as required, adhering to documented procedures and assisting in the completion of tasks.
  • Prepare clear, concise, and comprehensive reports or written advice within tight timeframes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities and achieve outcomes.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex situations and engage positively with stakeholders.
  • Strong Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural capability.
  • Commitment to supporting positive outcomes for families and children, particularly those with experience of family, domestic or sexual violence.
