Our team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Wildlife Conservation Research Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with research projects, conducting field work, and contributing to the development of high-level time management and organisational skills.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with overnight koala trapping duties, handling and capturing koalas, and conducting daytime field work for research projects.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in koala husbandry and handling, as well as strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Work independently and demonstrate a positive attitude towards wildlife conservation and research.
Requirements:
  • Experience in animal handling and welfare, particularly with koalas.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • A full driver's licence or provisional P2 license.
