Business Development Manager for Travel Agencies

At Accor, we're a world leader in the hotel industry, operating over 5,000 hotels and 10,000 restaurants and bars across 110 countries. Our diverse portfolio of brands offers luxury and high-end experiences, as well as mid-range and economic options.

As a key member of our team, you'll support Key Account Managers in driving performance across the TMC and Leisure segments in the Pacific region. Your primary responsibilities will include leading sales, marketing, and distribution initiatives to boost segment and account performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales, marketing, and distribution efforts to achieve revenue growth and improve customer engagement.
  • Develop annual plans and represent Accor at events and presentations to drive business development.
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to implement loyalty programs and revenue-generating strategies.

RFP Process Leadership

  • Lead the RFP contracting process for Leisure & TMC segments, ensuring seamless collaboration with hotels and partners.

B2B Digital Marketing and Activations

  • In partnership with the KAM, oversee B2B marketing activations for the TMC and Leisure segments in the Pacific, analyzing campaign performance using data-driven approaches.

Hotel Training and Support

  • Design and implement training programs to enhance hotel knowledge and sales capabilities.
  • Co-lead Contracting webinars for TMC & Leisure segments during RFI/RFP solicitations.
  • Maintain regular audits to ensure hotel sales teams utilize sales systems and tools effectively.

Sales Systems and Tools Management

  • Oversee daily operations of A.N.A.I.S. and ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Support the management of key sales tools and programs, including Learn with Us and LOL.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Management, Tourism, or Hotel Management is preferred but not essential.
  • Extensive hotel industry experience with strong presentation skills and relationships with key industry bodies and agencies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Windows Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook) and Salesforce web-based applications.
  • A data-driven mindset with strong analytical thinking abilities.
  • Previous experience with Business Travel Management Companies and/or Leisure Agencies is advantageous.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
