About the Role

In this role, you'll work closely with our customers, providing essential support and assistance with daily living tasks. You'll also be responsible for promoting independence, dignity, and respect for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Domestic Assistance: Ensuring the home environment is safe and comfortable for our customers
  • Meal Preparation and Shopping: Assisting with meal planning, preparation, and grocery shopping
  • Social Support and Transport: Providing companionship and transportation to lifestyle activities and appointments
  • Personal Care (once trained): Assisting with daily living tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Respite and Emotional Support: Providing emotional support and respite care to customers and their families
  • Social Support and Transport to Appointments: Accompanying customers to appointments and providing support during these visits
  • Complex Care: Providing specialized care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia

Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care, or willingness to be trained
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle
  • Able to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Availability to work at least 3 days per week
