About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Support Worker to join our team at Sanctuary Care, part of Mounties Group, to provide support for our clients across Coomera, QLD, on a Casual or Part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accompany clients during daily activities, including running errands and going on outings
  • Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene, such as showering and dressing
  • Perform household tasks, including cleaning, washing, and folding clothes
  • Provide social interaction and companionship
  • Transport clients to appointments
Requirements
  • Hold a Certificate 3 in Individual Support or similar qualification
  • Previous experience in aged care or disability, with at least one year of experience
  • Hold a COVID-19 Vaccination
  • Current Police Check, or willingness to obtain
  • Current First Aid Certificate, including CPR, or willingness to obtain
  • Must have own car and relevant insurances
  • Dementia care qualification, desirable
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
