Supermarket Assistant

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused team member to join our supermarket team. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, managing stock levels, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through training and development programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with customers
  • Manage stock levels, including receiving, storing, and rotating stock
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and meet customer needs
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to lift up to 17kg and stand for long periods
  • A current RSA certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
