Overview of the Position

The primary focus of this role is to develop precise and effective schedules for all Collectors while promptly addressing both planned and unplanned absences within the Collector Network. This is accomplished through the use of an advanced computerized scheduling system.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure that schedules for the assigned area are prepared at least two (2) weeks ahead of the current date.
  • Create and manage employee profiles in Workforce Dimensions, ensuring they accurately represent their roles, hours, awards, areas, and shifts.
  • Perform timely and precise data entry in WFD for any shift modifications.
  • Act on all updates or changes to schedules due to personal leave, shift swap requests, or other unexpected needs in WFD.
  • Respond to all communications in a courteous and positive manner, providing accurate information as needed.
  • Manage vacancies within Collections in a timely and precise manner.
  • Monitor casual employee availability, tracking declined shifts and the variability of areas/shifts worked.
  • Ensure that Reliever Collectors are utilized to their full contracted hours within the most efficient radius of their designated hub.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Team and Collection Lead promptly if vacancies cannot be filled or are only partially filled.

Candidate Profile

To be eligible for this role, candidates should possess a strong combination of skills, including:

  • Relevant experience with electronic scheduling systems, with Kronos Work Force Dimensions being preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in the healthcare sector.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication styles to suit the audience.
  • Proven capability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of and ability to apply Award conditions in shift scheduling.
