Construction Finance Controller

Join our dynamic team and embark on an exciting opportunity as a Construction Finance Controller. This is a high-performing, hands-on role where you'll lead the company's financial operations and shape strategic financial initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong leadership background with experience in construction finance processes (job costing, invoicing, cash flow). They should have exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and be able to foster a collaborative work environment.

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Lead annual budgeting and provide forecasts and projections.
  • Assess financial risks and opportunities; offer recommendations.
  • Establish KPI's and track financial performance and efficiency.

As a key member of the team, you'll be responsible for managing accounts receivable and payable, overseeing accurate and timely invoicing and payments, and monitoring cash flow.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Accounting and Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities, and provide financial insights to support executive decision-making.
  • Cash Management: Oversee collections, manage vendor relationships, and develop and refine cash management policies.
  • Taxes and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations, coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for audits and filings, and process payroll timely and accurately.

This is a full-time position that requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and at least 5-7 years of progressive financial leadership experience.
