Swimming Coach

Elite Swimming Pascoe Vale Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Swimming Instructor to join our team. As a Swimming Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching swimming techniques, swimming strokes, and water safety rules to students with varying swimming abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach swimming techniques and strokes to students of all ages and skill levels.
• Assist more experienced swimmers to enhance their swimming abilities.
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching programs accordingly.
• Monitor students to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Implement ground rules for each swim session.
• Plan swimming lessons that consider students' abilities and progressive development.
• Identify and correct incorrect swimming techniques.
• Ensure the swimming pool and locker rooms are kept clean and tidy.

In return for your commitment and skills, you will receive a competitive salary package of $74,000 plus Superannuation. Applicants with formal qualifications in Swimming related studies and at least 2 years of practical experience will be prioritised. The position is available full time, 38 hours/week, but applicants must be available for overtime and willing to work odd hours, including weekends and early morning/late night shifts.
