About the Opportunity

Lactalis is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Operator to join our team in Darwin. As a key member of our Cool Room team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and meeting customer demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manually picking and packing orders to customer specifications
  • Moving stock from the production line to the warehouse
  • Loading and unloading trucks while adhering to safety protocols
  • Ensuring timely and accurate loading of vehicles to meet production requirements and workflow
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to housekeeping and hygiene procedures
  • Receiving, storing, and issuing stock in saleable condition
  • Operating forklifts safely and efficiently
  • Accompanying customer orders and receipts with correct paperwork
  • Reporting any issues that may disrupt the operation
  • Assisting in the training of new staff and performing other duties as required
Requirements
  • A current Forklift license
  • Previous Warehouse Operator experience
  • Computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office and computer-based maintenance systems
