Job Description:

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions for mobile products on the Android Development platform. Your primary focus will be on driving delivery and continuous product improvement, while ensuring that engineering excellence is maintained at the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create scalable and efficient software solutions that address customer needs and deliver exceptional user experiences.
  • Design and execute sophisticated testing activities to ensure product quality and meet quality criteria.
  • Assess and resolve development or production issues efficiently, communicating effectively with stakeholders and participating in incident responses and post-mortems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong advocacy for Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated tooling.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD concepts and tooling, with an emphasis on making major code design decisions for individual products.
  • Expert command of Android Studio IDE, high coding standards, and testing practices.
  • Experience in developing secure, performant, and scalable software using agile methodologies, MVVM, and clean architecture patterns.
  • Kotlin proficiency and staying up-to-date with the latest Android development trends are essential.
