We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Midwife to join our team at The State of Queensland, working in partnership with the wider multidisciplinary team to provide quality, safe patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver contemporary, evidence-based midwifery services in the Antenatal Clinic, demonstrating clinical competence and capability.
- Provide direct midwifery care, optimising the perinatal journey of women and their families, and enabling woman-centred care with enhanced access to services.
- Support excellence in midwifery care and patient outcomes, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to quality improvement processes.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive, patient-centred care, and communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and visitors.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate midwifery care, ensuring the highest standards of practice and registration requirements are met.
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine-preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16.
