Job Description

Automotive Apprentice Role Overview:

An Automotive Apprentice role involves working closely with experienced mechanics to gain hands-on experience in diagnosing, servicing, and repairing vehicles.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, wheel alignments, and using diagnostic equipment to identify and address mechanical issues.

As part of our team, you will also participate in regular training and development to enhance your knowledge and skills.

Our apprentice program is designed to provide you with a solid foundation in the automotive industry and support your career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle problems
  • Service and maintain vehicles to ensure optimal performance
  • Perform routine checks on vehicles to identify potential issues
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have or be willing to obtain the following qualifications:

  • Recent school-leavers (Year 10-12)
  • Pre-Apprenticeship in Automotive (Highly Desired)
  • Working towards or have obtained a current Driver's License
  • Committed to building a career within their choice of trade
  • Reliability, team-player, and motivated to work
  • Eager to grow their skills and gain a nationally recognised qualification
