Job Title: RF Engineer

A vital role within our engineering division, this position requires an experienced professional with significant expertise in designing and delivering private telecommunications networks into the mining/resource industry.

The successful candidate will work on cutting-edge projects with multiple key clients, including increasing levels of 5G private network development as clients upgrade from LTE to 5G.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing radio communications solutions, including architecture and infrastructure design.
  • Hands-on experience with Tetra and P25 communication solutions is highly beneficial.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplined engineering teams to deliver complex communications projects.
  • Preparing and reviewing technical design documentation.
  • Designing, managing, and maintaining standard documentation and specifications.
  • Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving serious service incidents, including hardware and software faults.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in mission-critical communication and operational technologies in the mining/oil and gas industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of design, configuration, commission, testing, integration, and validation of Transmission/microwave/voice mobile radio in the mining/oil and gas sector.
  • Experience using Root Cause Analysis techniques to troubleshoot and solve network issues.
