Aged Care Support Worker

As a Personal Care Worker at Calvary Care, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. You will work as part of an integrated team to support the Home Manager and peers in delivering exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities- Support residents to live their lives with dignity and independence, promoting their physical, emotional, and lifestyle needs.
- Contribute to the assessment and observation of residents' needs, implementing clinical and care interventions as delegated by the Registered Nurse.
- Assist residents with their personal care and hygiene needs, encouraging their independence and autonomy.
- Document and report by exception in the progress notes, evaluating interventions and contributing to the resident's care plan.
- Plan and organize work, delegating tasks as necessary and working under the supervision of the Home Manager or Registered Nurse.
- A Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
- A passion for working in Aged Care and a sound understanding of the sector.
- Previous experience in a similar role in Aged Care is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
