About the Role

Launch Recruitment is partnering with a leading organisation undergoing a significant digital transformation project. As a DevSecOps Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the security, development, and operations aspects of the digital development lifecycle and environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and Maintain DevSecOps Best Practices: Lead the implementation and maintenance of DevSecOps best practices within the business.
  • Collaborate with Development Teams: Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate security controls into the software delivery process.
  • Provide Expertise in Secure Coding: Provide expertise in secure coding practices, vulnerability management, and threat modelling.
  • Develop Automated Security Testing Processes: Develop and maintain automated security testing processes and tooling to identify and remediate vulnerabilities throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Manage Security Toolsets: Manage and enhance security toolsets for continuous monitoring and alerting.
  • Participate in Incident Response Activities: Participate in incident response activities and lead efforts to improve overall system resilience.
  • Evaluate New Technologies: Evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance the organisation's security posture.
  • Mentor Team Members: Mentor team members on secure coding practices and promote a culture of security awareness within the organisation.
  • Oversee Security Policies: Oversee the creation of security policies and procedures and maintain documentation of security measures.
Requirements
  • Azure Certifications: Hold Azure Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
  • Experience in DevSecOps: Prior experience working within a DevSecOps team or implementing DevSecOps practices in an organisation.
  • Demonstrated Success: Demonstrated success in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions.
  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record of automating manual processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Infrastructure Security Experience: Experience with application and infrastructure security advantageous.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience working with agile methodologies and participating in agile ceremonies.
  • Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Containerization Technologies: Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Ability to implement continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • IaC Concepts: Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
About the Opportunity
