About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Rigid Truck Driver to join our team based out of our Brisbane Distribution Centre. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day distribution and customer deliveries. This role will involve driving a heavy rigid truck, loading and unloading goods, and performing various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver goods to customers in a timely and efficient manner
- Load and unload goods from trucks using a forklift (if licensed)
- Perform goods receiving, receipting, picking, packing, and dispatch tasks
- Identify and report any distribution issues or hazards
- Perform basic administration tasks using our warehouse management system
- Ensure tasks are completed in a safe, timely, and accurate manner
Requirements:
- Heavy Rigid Truck Licence - Essential
- Valid Forklift Licence (LF) - preferred
- Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills
- Good computer literacy - preferred
- Previous experience in HR truck driving and LF forklift driving is preferred
