Your Opportunity:

As an Allied Health Assistant working in Residential Aged Care, you will play a vital role in supporting residents to stay active, independent, and connected to their communities. You will be involved in various areas that make a real difference in the lives of residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting mobility and functional programs
  • Assisting with restorative therapy
  • Facilitating falls prevention and active ageing group sessions
  • Assisting with pressure care and pain management plans
  • Collaborating with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and care staff to deliver resident-centred support

You will have opportunities to help with one-on-one therapy programs or encourage residents in group activities, all while contributing to a culture that values work-life balance.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Allied Health Assistants (Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance, or equivalent experience)
  • Current Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy students seeking hands-on experience in aged care are encouraged to apply
  • Australian working rights
  • Willingness to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening and a National Police Check
  • A current driver's licence and willingness to travel within a dedicated region
