The Anaesthesia and Pain Management Service is in search of qualified Consultant Anaesthetists who are eager to contribute to a prominent regional tertiary referral hospital. This facility features eleven operating theatres equipped for a comprehensive range of adult and pediatric surgical procedures. Candidates should possess extensive expertise and demonstrated clinical proficiency consistent with the standards expected of a specialist anaesthetist, along with the ability to foster effective service interactions essential for the operation of a busy anaesthetic department.

In this role, you will deliver specialized anaesthetic services, including thorough pre-operative and post-operative care, within your credentialed privileges for patients at CC Medical. As a Consultant Anaesthetist, you will also be responsible for providing professional guidance, training, and oversight to medical trainees, clinical staff, and medical students.

The Anaesthetic Department is recognized by the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) as a training site for anaesthetic trainees, offering up to twelve months of training for those aspiring to become Fellows of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA).
