Senior Electrical Engineer Opportunity

This is a technical and leadership role, responsible for providing engineering expertise to resolve shipbuilding issues and enable production trades.

The successful candidate will be responsible for mobilizing and leading a team of engineers and para-professionals, conducting technical assessments, and developing repair threshold documents.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Mobilize and lead a team of up to 15 engineers and para-professionals.
  • Conduct technical assessments to resolve electrical engineering issues.
  • Develop and maintain repair threshold documents.
  • Provide an interface between the Production Engineering team and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience as a professional Electrical Engineer.
  • Engineering degree qualified, satisfying the requirements for Chartered membership of the institute of Engineers Australia.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively under limited supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills along with excellent customer relations skills.
