We are a leading provider of Allied Health services, offering support in multiple locations across Australia to thousands of participants in the community with Occupational & Speech Therapy, Behaviour Support, Psychology, Exercise Physiology and Physiotherapy services.

Job Description

The role involves managing an allocated caseload and providing therapeutic services in a timely manner. You will assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing an allocated caseload and completing therapeutic services in a timely manner
  • Assessing participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
  • Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
  • Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that help participants get more out of life
  • Supporting participants and their carers with adaptations to the environment including home, school, work and residential facilities
  • Recommending provision of Assistive Technology to assist participants with their functional limitations and promote independence
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
  • A proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas
  • A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
