Job Title: Cluster Human Resources Manager

At Hilton Hotels, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cluster Human Resources Manager to join our team. As a key member of our HR function, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and coordination of HR activities for Hilton Cairns & DoubleTree by Hilton Cairns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate recruitment activities using Taleo, our talent management system
  • Manage all Human Resource administration and onboarding activities
  • Support HR activities, including onboarding, work experience program, careers fairs, training materials, and Team Member opinion surveys
  • Serve as the point of contact for Team Member issues, advising the Area Director of HR as appropriate
  • Keep current with employment law, human resources policies, and training requirements
  • Assist in determining training requirements and support training initiatives
  • Assist in the organization of Team Member social events
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Human Resources Position
  • Strong Industrial Relations experience and knowledge of Australian legislation
  • Extensive background in team member engagement, recruitment and learning and development activities
  • Computer literate
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve problems and conflict, and work efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent leadership skills and exceptional communication skills
  • A Degree level qualification or equivalent relevant experience
