Home Care Worker

  • Salary: $33.41 per hour, increasing to $34.46 for those with relevant Cert IV qualifications.
  • Additional benefits: 12% superannuation, paid KM's and travel time, paid training, shift loadings, penalties and allowances.

Job Description:

As a Home Care Worker, you will assist participants with home care domestic assistance supports, working alongside them to perform domestic duties such as vacuuming, mopping and general light touch household cleaning. You will also support participants in engaging in community, social and recreational activities, using your own vehicle to transport them to community-based outings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Completed Certificate III qualification or higher (desirable)
  • Minimum three months paid employment experience in a Support Worker, Care Worker, Nursing role OR completed 120 placement hours
  • Australian Working Rights
  • Australian Driver's License
  • Qld Motor Vehicle Registration
  • Provide First Aid Statement of Attainment
  • Provide CPR Statement of Attainment
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to apply)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willing to undertake)
  • Blue Card (or willing to apply)
  • Australian Criminal History Check (or willing to apply)
