Warehouse Team Lead Job Description

This is a leadership role in the warehouse where you will oversee the execution of logistics operations and manage inventory.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate receiving, verification and loading/unloading of materials from trucks.
  • Prepare goods for timely dispatch to meet customer or production requirements.
Inventory Management
  • Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through regular stock checks and reconciliation of discrepancies.
  • Use inventory management systems to track levels, update records and manage orders.
  • Conduct daily cycle counts and investigate stock discrepancies.
Operations
  • Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
Logistics Support
  • Coordinate transportation and distribution activities.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve logistics issues.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience as team lead and knowledge of SAP, Excel and Microsoft Suite. A Forklift license is necessary and high reach experience preferred.

Key Qualifications:
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems.
  • Material handling equipment skills.
