Resident Wellbeing Associate

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Resident Wellbeing Assistant to provide person-centered care and support to residents in a part-time role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Resident Activities: Collaborate with the Lifestyle Coordinator to develop and implement engaging activity programs that cater to diverse resident needs.
- Consumer Assessments: Review and complete assessments to ensure tailored support for each resident.
- Care Team Collaboration: Work closely with Volunteers, Therapy Staff, and Care Teams to provide holistic care and address individual needs.
- Aged Care Qualifications: Hold relevant qualifications in Leisure and Lifestyle or Aged Care.
- Experience: Possess at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably with dementia care knowledge and memory support programs.
- Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to build connections with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Compassionate Approach: Showcase a patient and empathetic approach when managing and supporting elderly residents and individuals with disabilities.
- Written and Interpersonal Communication: Display effective written and verbal communication skills, including intermediate computer proficiency.
- Valid Driver's License: Possess a current, full driver's license for Victoria and comply with any licence restrictions.
- Police Clearance: Have a valid Police Clearance or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance.
- Vaccination Requirements: Provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination prior to commencement.
