Senior Asset Capacity Engineer

The Senior Asset Capacity Engineer is a key member of the Asset Management team at Jemena, responsible for providing technical expertise to support the growth and operations of the company's gas assets. The successful candidate will apply their knowledge of asset capacity theory to analyze and evaluate assets and their sub-components, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Assess the efficiency and effectiveness of existing asset operations and capacity to inform process and asset system improvements.
- Develop and analyze asset information and models to identify limitations and debottlenecking initiatives.
- Prepare and analyze data to produce information used to assess asset and system performance.
- Provide engineering services throughout the project life cycle, including scope development and project documentation.
- Support incident and near-miss investigations, and provide troubleshooting and response actions.
- Act as a subject matter expert for asset capacity, capacity, and pipeline modeling.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in system engineering and asset management. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of commercial and technical interactions, as well as experience in developing effective and optimal capacity designs.
Key qualifications include:
- Substantial experience in system engineering for at least one asset system.
- Strong knowledge of commercial and technical interactions, including standard pipeline products and contracts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and consultation skills.
- Experience in creating and maintaining complex databases and developing detailed documentation.
