Ravenswood School for Girls is a Uniting Church day and boarding school for girls located on Sydney's North Shore.

We are seeking an experienced Science Teacher to join our dedicated team in a permanent full-time capacity, commencing at the start of Term 1.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience teaching Science from Years 7 to 10, with the ability to teach Stage 6 HSC Biology. Experience in Stage 6 HSC Chemistry would be advantageous, as would a willingness to teach within the IB Diploma Programme.

The successful candidate will be an engaging and innovative classroom practitioner who brings creativity and academic rigour to curriculum delivery and thrives in a collaborative and professional team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Science to students from Years 7 to 10
  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that cater to different learning styles
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum programs

Requirements:

  • Experience teaching Science from Years 7 to 10
  • Ability to teach Stage 6 HSC Biology
  • Desirable: Experience in Stage 6 HSC Chemistry and willingness to teach within the IB Diploma Programme
