About The Role: As a Cook, you will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of high-quality food services to cater for in-house patients, staff, and visitors.

  • You will focus on production of meals, stock control, food safety, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Your primary goal is to ensure compliance with local and national food safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with catering services to meet patient food requirements, including food preparation, storage, hygiene, distribution, and serving meals.
  • Develop and implement effective menu planning and food presentation strategies to enhance the dining experience.
  • Maintain efficient communication with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations.
  • Adhere to all relevant health and safety protocols, including infection control and WHS procedures.

What You Bring: To succeed in this role, you will need 5 years of relevant industry experience, a Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery (desired), and excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Experience in a hospital-based kitchen setting is highly desirable, as well as a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development is essential.
