Veterinary Nursing Support Specialist
VetPartners is seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our team as Casual Veterinary Nurses. Our facilities are in need of enthusiastic professionals to assist our nursing staff, allowing them to take well-deserved breaks. The ideal candidate will excel in a dynamic and high-energy setting, managing a diverse range of surgical and medical cases.
Role Responsibilities
As a Veterinary Nurse, you will engage in various aspects of veterinary care, including:
- Assisting with a broad spectrum of surgical procedures.
- Conducting blood sampling and performing in-house laboratory tests.
- Administering cannulas and providing excellent animal handling.
- Performing reception duties such as responding to client inquiries, updating patient records, scheduling appointments, and facilitating patient discharges.

Candidate Requirements
Essential qualifications include:
- A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent.
- Registration with the Veterinary Surgeons' Board of Western Australia.
- A minimum of two years experience in a veterinary nursing capacity.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to:
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Maintain composure and respond effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Exhibit a strong sense of empathy and understanding towards patients, clients, and the veterinary healthcare team.
