Job Title

We are seeking a skilled tiler to join our team. As an experienced professional, you will be responsible for installing and repairing tile surfaces in residential and commercial settings.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from new construction to renovations and repairs. You will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise, working with different types of materials and techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and repair tile surfaces in accordance with client specifications and industry standards
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and effectively
  • Maintain high-quality workmanship and attention to detail throughout all aspects of the job
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of new technologies and techniques in the trade
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the trade
  • Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling
  • Class C Driver's License
  • Own tools and reliable vehicle with ability to tow trailer
  • Competent skills in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Exceptional communication and listening skills
  • Attention to detail and desire to execute quality work
  • Motivation, professionalism, reliability, and willingness to learn
  • Great problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Tiling skills including mitres, demolition, plastering, screeding, waterproofing, grouting, and siliconing
  • Ability to lay range of materials including ceramic, porcelain, mosaics, large format, and patterns
  • Versatility and openness to adapting to modern techniques
  • Ability to adapt to policies and procedures including use of technology to interact with team
  • Good time management while focusing on quality and high-standard workmanship
