Senior Payroll Director

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategic partnerships with clients, ensuring seamless transitions and outsourced service delivery.
  • Oversee payroll compliance, legislative risk, and HR contract law obligations across diverse portfolios.
  • Interpret complex awards and enterprise agreements, and manage terminations with precision.
  • Optimise KeyPay system use, troubleshoot issues, and embed efficiencies within payroll and HR teams.
  • Drive cross-selling and upselling opportunities, monitor budgets, and build team capability through training and coaching.
Requirements:
  • Proven expertise in Australian payroll compliance, modern awards, and termination processes.
  • Advanced experience with KeyPay and a strong background in outsourced payroll/HR or professional services.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with a proven track record in managing and growing teams.
  • Strong financial acumen and commercial focus to support ambitious growth goals.
  • Pragmatic problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
