About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Metallurgical Technician to join our team. This is a full-time opportunity that involves various tasks, including:

  • Sample Preparation: Handling and preparing samples for testwork.
  • Bulk Sample Preparation: Preparing bulk samples for testing.
  • Assay and Mineralogy: Preparing samples for assay and mineralogical analysis.
  • Particle Size Classification: Classifying particles by size.
  • Sieving: Conducting wet and dry sieving operations.
  • Hydrocycloning: Operating hydrocyclones.
  • Laser Sizing: Performing optical laser sizing.
  • Supporting Metallurgical Tasks: Assisting with gravity processing, flotation, and leaching procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 3+ Years of Experience: Working in a mineral processing laboratory.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to relocate or work variable hours, including shift work.
  • Communication Skills: Good numeracy, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Emphasis on attention to detail in your work tasks.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Supervision: Ability to work with minimal direct supervision.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility in working arrangements and adaptability to changing circumstances.
