The Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of schedules, cost estimates, and project baselines. You will also be liaising with clients and suppliers, coordinating various activities, and assisting with procurement management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist with the preparation of schedules, cost estimates, and project baselines
  2. Liaise with clients and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution
  3. Coordinate various activities to meet project deadlines
  4. Assist with procurement management by providing required standards and specifications
  5. Monitor and report on project progress against timelines and budget
  6. Provide guidance on project risks and opportunities

  8. Coordinate the preparation of documentation, including Quality Plans, Safety Plans, and Environmental Plans
  9. Attend Risk Assessment meetings, HAZOPs, and other safety-related meetings
  10. Assist with factory assembly, testing, and commissioning across Australia and New Zealand
  11. Occasional site visits across Australia and New Zealand
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with CPEng or RPEQ certification. You will also have a minimum of 3+ years of project engineering experience and a good understanding of project management methodologies.

Requirements
  1. Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with CPEng or RPEQ certification
  2. Minimum of 3+ years of project engineering experience
  3. Good understanding of project management methodologies
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office and design programs such as Solidworks and AutoCAD
  5. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  6. Availability to travel across Australia and New Zealand
