Front of House Team Member

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our dynamic team as a Front of House (FOH) staff member.

About the Role

The FOH staff member will be responsible for preparing equipment stations for service, greeting guests politely and taking orders, suggesting menu items to customers, and presenting and pouring wines.

They will also be required to monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organisation of assigned service areas, complete closing duties as assigned, and proactively carry out duties as instructed by management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare equipment stations for service and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the shift.
  • Greet guests politely and take a la carte orders, making recommendations where appropriate.
  • Work diligently to achieve outstanding service quality, ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service.
  • Present and pour wines with confidence and knowledge, providing recommendations and answering questions from guests.
  • Inform the kitchen of any allergies or dietary requirements and ensure that all orders are fulfilled promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times, adhering to company dress code and grooming standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum 1 year experience in hospitality, preferably in a similar Front of House role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Sound knowledge of food and wine, although not essential it would be beneficial.
  • An RSA Certificate and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • A positive and professional disposition towards work, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
