Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Educator with great cooking skills to join our team as a Centre Cook. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering healthy menus reflecting cultural and individual needs of children, supporting health and wellbeing through planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks, ordering food supplies, ensuring safe food handling compliance with our Food Safety Plan, and maintaining the kitchen to accreditation standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need a Food Handlers Supervisor Certificate (online training) and a passion for creating healthy and delicious meals for young children. You will also have the option to increase your hours by working with the children if you are a qualified Educator.
