Job Opportunity for Consultant Neurologist

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Neurologist to join our dynamic medical division in the city of Bendigo, Victoria.

  • As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our neurology department and contributing to the advancement of neurological care in our region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist input for acute and complex neurological presentations.
  • Run outpatient clinics and provide consults to inpatient teams.
  • Contribute to diagnostic and neurophysiology services including EEG, nerve conduction studies, and EMG.
  • Participate in stroke and neurology pathway development, including the Victorian Stroke Telemedicine (VST) clinic.
  • Mentor and teach junior doctors and contribute to service quality initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Neurology or equivalent overseas specialist qualifications.
  • Passion for service development and clinical leadership.
  • Teaching, clinical governance, and research participation are highly valued.
