Edith Cowan University is seeking an experienced and highly motivated senior analyst and strategic planner to provide advice that supports strategic decision-making at the University. The successful candidate will be part of a team providing high-quality briefings and position papers for consideration by the Senior Leadership Team, Council and other committees. Key responsibilities include developing statutory reports to government agencies and other external bodies, and developing submissions responding to government consultations. Additionally, the candidate will support ECU's strategic planning, operational planning, and performance reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities
Significant experience in planning and strategy development in an Australian university.
A thorough understanding of the higher education policy environment and national and international drivers impacting universities.
Outstanding writing skills and the ability to communicate to a range of stakeholders.
Excellent data analysis skills, with experience with large (non-financial) datasets.
Excellent desk-research and critical thinking skills.
Benefits and Remuneration
This full-time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $111,152 to $125,191pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
