Job Overview

We are seeking specialist Emergency Medicine Consultants to contribute to the provision of high-quality healthcare across regional Western Australia.

The Role

As a FACEM, you will provide specialist emergency medical care and ensure smooth patient flow for patients presenting to the Emergency Department. You will also provide clinical leadership to optimize outcomes for patients through working with the multidisciplinary team, including rural generalists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist emergency medical care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
  • Ensure smooth patient flow by working effectively with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide clinical leadership to optimize outcomes for patients.
  • Supervise the work of Registrars and Junior Medical Officers (JMOs).
  • Be involved in teaching JMOs and medical students.
