Computer Science Lecturer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our academic team as a lecturer in computer science. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire students, enrich their learning experience, and prepare them for thriving careers in their field of study.
The lecturer will be responsible for delivering engaging and subject-relevant lectures and practical workshops that equip students with cutting-edge skills. The successful candidate will contribute to the design and development of accredited higher education curriculum, ensuring it meets standards and industry trends. They will collaborate with industry professionals to integrate emerging technologies and techniques into course content.
The role requires strong communication skills to teach both technical and collaborative aspects of software development with real-world relevance. The lecturer will need to convey foundational IT and cybersecurity concepts effectively and guide students through practical exercises.
QualificationsOur ideal candidate should have:
- A postgraduate qualification at Masters level or higher
- A high level of professional industry practice or academic experience
- Teaching or training experience in higher education or professional environments
- Experience in IT and Cyber Security Fundamentals
- Technical knowledge in cybersecurity principles, networking, databases (SQL), hardware, and software fundamentals
